The Golden Wave Award is our premier year-end distinction, dedicated to the artists who are keeping the spirit of surf instrumental music alive while pushing the genre into new territory. From the classic reverb-drenched sounds of traditional surf to the heavy edges of surf-punk, psych-garage, and surf-fusion, we are looking for the best tracks of the year.
We invite all surf and instrumental rock bands to nominate their latest releases. Nominating your music gets your band on our radar for rolling reviews throughout the year and enters you into the running for our annual year-end award.

Nomination Guidelines
Eligible Genres: Traditional Surf, Surf Rock, Psych/Garage, Surf-Fusion, and Progressive Surf Instrumental.
Requirements: Please provide a Bandcamp Download Code or a direct streaming link for review purposes.
Submission Timeline: Nominations are open year-round. To be considered for the current cycle's annual Award, please submit by December 31st.
