The Golden Wave Award is our premier year-end distinction, dedicated to the artists who are keeping the spirit of surf instrumental music alive while pushing the genre into new territory. From the classic reverb-drenched sounds of traditional surf to the heavy edges of surf-punk, psych-garage, and surf-fusion, we are looking for the best tracks of the year.
We invite all surf and instrumental rock bands to submit their latest work for consideration. One band will be selected for the annual Golden Wave Award, receiving a featured spotlight and recognition across our digital platforms.
Submission Guidelines
Eligible Genres: Traditional Surf, Surf Rock, Psych/Garage, Surf-Fusion, and Progressive Surf Instrumental.
Requirement: Please provide a Bandcamp Download Code or a direct streaming link for review purposes.
Deadline: All submissions must be received by December 31st.
There is a possibility for a full review of your album on this site!
